Victory lap or on track celebration

Well, I would say that it is a matter of current practice rather than a "first race" deal, but the choice is:
Victory lap. The classic and classy move.
ps--you didn't mention choice 3--Mindless (and commonplace) burnouts while bouncing the engine that just carried you to victory off the rev limiter while it overheats.
The choice is still the Victory lap.Last edited by OldSchool+; 01-07-2017, 05:32 PM.

checkered flag--
is the checkered-flag victory lap in play anymore?
i grew up with that type of finish in the midwest, even with sprint cars and midgets winning races; dash, heats, consi's, semi's, and feature races. that was the norm. and the crowds went crazy on those victory laps.

ok typical race track stuff
I say pick one and some of you guys want to combine or squeeze in other options. Lol.Old School I didn't throw in the mindless melt down of a set of tires and drive train because when I was racing the guys who were trying to teach me would have left footprints on my butt cheeks for doing that to equipment. For a couple others I didn't throw in a polish victory lap because I ain't polish lol.Me personally I would have taken a victory lap no brainer.I would buy what little help I had a steak dinner and give them a high five, but being a guy who never got to let me have that checkered flag for a trip around the place just once.sigpic
