37 Sprint cars have already checked in for the Central Florida Sprint Car Challenge. It's not to late to make it to Ocala. Save your ticket stub for $3.00 off admission to Volusia Saturday night.

Thanks much Old Style Racer 2. You are the best! Results sure have been slow coming on this one. I think Ocala has their report up this Sunday morning. I see my FSCA boys brought and showed their stuff Friday night. Congrats to Lasker and I heard through the grapevine Bryn Gohn won at Volusia. Way to go Bryn! Volusia is one fun, fast track for sprints.

Missing the turn right to go left, but lovin the rock hard surface and competition level of asphalt Dakotah #79

I personally sent out the results on Saturday morning at about 2AM, followed by the race wrap up articles sometime after 4AM. All Ocala results went to the respective outlets about 2 hours behind schedule thanks to a late night at the track, but they went out before Saturday sunrise. If individual websites failed to post them promptly, then so be it. The results were on the Ocasla Speedway MySpace as soon as they were mailed out, and they were posted on FloridaFlagstand.com at nearly the same time. Not every website has folks that keep my hours, so some are slower to post than others. LOL!

I LOVED IT FRIDAY NIGHT!!! It's what I've expected a weekly Williams Grove show would be like. Pits full of sprint cars and fans eager to see them. Thanks to Mike and the Ocala Speedway for a great night of racing...

Ocala Speedway is such a great track for sprint cars. Its fast yet challenging...If you build it, they will come.

Interesting to see some old familiar names in the field like Kurt Taylor and Guy Bos who used to run the old "Southern Modified" class at East Bay... Would be neat if someone could put this together as a really top-notch dirt Sprint Car traveling series... If I had the money I'd certainly give it a go!

Thanks for the positive feedback. Our first speedweeks 2009 will host 410 sprint cars which is going to be incredible to watch around the D especially turns 3 & 4. We're booking the All Stars with some nice incentives for WOO drivers to also participate.

Just so you know BJ, the results were put up early Saturday morning and then the story once I got it for Ocala. I know how important that is for tracks and racers and fans and I do it as soon as I get them. I do admit that at 2 a.m., I was not up. But when we race at Orlando, I usually come home and put them up for you at karnac that night since I am up at that time of the morning. But I do know how important they are to everyone.

Also, I had New Smyrna results and Desoto results up before they were sent to me. So I try my best to keep everyone informed on what has happened in racing.

I'm not blaming you, Jane. Like I said, most folks don't keep my weekend hours, and to be honest I have a deal with a couple of sites where I post the info for them because they're not up at 3AM either...LOL! The way I see it, Ocala runs on Friday nights, so it is important that I get the info out ASAP and hopefully it gets posted. That way folks can see the results from Ocala over morning coffee and before they venture out to other tracks on Saturday afternoon. Like I said before, some sites post it quickly, and some don'tt get it posted until Sunday or Monday. Karnac has always been prompt with posting results and stories and all of us at Ocala Speedway appreciate that!
