Modified Gov results and Ty Majeski

They mentioned during Gov cup Jeff C. won the modified race. But supposedly a few were DQ'd? Does anyone actually know who was declared the winner and why the DQ's? I'm still trying to figure how Ty Majeski was scored on the lead lap?

the only transmission that is deemed illegal is the brinn type ? Internal clutch ? Read Ricky's new series rules ? nothing about straight cut or light weight ? I am confused.

P1,P3, P4 were DQ'd for illegal tranny. P2 was DQ'd for 1/8" low on the cross member or lower A frame.
Like most others I don't know who won, and I was there.

Doubtful that Kyle is related to Jeff.... both from up north, but Jeff was Tennessee, Kyle is from Michigan I believe. I think he runs with Travis Eddy on occasion back home.
Travis is the one who posted 3 DQ's for transmission issues ( I think he said angle-cut gears, but I'm not a nuts and bolts guy on this stuff), and also mentioned the cross member of the other being "1/4 inch low because of the wear from bottoming out".

Is the 2016 Super late Model track champ as well as the 2015 Open Wheel Modified track champ at my old home track Columbus Motor Speedway in Ohio.As far as I know no relationship to Jeff Purvis and also as far as I know his first appearance in the Sunshine State. If so congrats to him.

Just checked the rules on NSS website. No mention of angle cut gears. Only x-mission with clutch in the bell housing allowed, not in the tranny. No Jericho trannies allowed. Seems if a car bottoms out the grinding would raise the member height, not shorten it for ride height. Just sayin'...

Told me personally that he was Dqued for straight cut gears. makes life easy for shifting. But someone show me where they are illegal ? never heard they were illegal. Jim read what I read.

Question. How do you get thru pre-tech without a windshield in an asphalt car? Don't remember one popping out during the race... ?
Correct on the OEM tranny in the rules. 2 forward, 1 reverse gears, clutch operated not in the tranny. PERIOD. SMDH..
