  • New Smyrna Reserved Seating Fights

Anyone have any experience with NSS reserved seating?

It is not labeled in any way so I observed at least 5-6 verbal altercations break out over people who were sitting in others seats. One gentleman would not move because he got there at 11am and was sitting there for 3 hours to get good seats and now had nowhere decent to sit.

In two cases the flag man had to come up and remove individuals from seats others had purchased. Poor guy!

They have always done that for big events NSS should have had those roped off with signs and someone seating people .

      sand

I was down in the pits for a while, then went up in stands to watch race. Few things I could not figure out? Why did they move 1/2 the trailers out of infield, and not all of them? When are they going to pave the infield, and grow some grass in the parking lots? The show was great, but the sand is a killer, I was coughing up sand all night..lol, my poor car is going to need to be washed twice to get all the dirt off of it, New Sandmerna Speedway. Bathrooms in the pits needed to be blown down by the storm, so they would of had to rebuild them. Only joking, no one needs storm damage, but the restrooms need to be fixed or rebuilt. Other then that is was a good show......

      Vince P...

      Just my two cents.

This thread surprised me. I sat in reserved seats, Row 20, section B, Seats 19-21. Both the rows and seats were clearly marked. Someone would either have to be a little slow not to see the numbers, or maybe not want to see them. I also didn't see any fights. I didn't even hear anyone get upset. However, I did see a lot of.people who tried to sit in the Reserved seats, and then moved when the actual ticket holders arrived. Maybe since an entire section was gone, those were people who wanted to sit up higher and took their chances that a few seats would be empty. I thought the seating was fine. There were empty seats both in reserved and general.

Oh okay I was in section D and I witnessed 5-6 verbal altercations and the flag man had to come up twice to remove people who wouldn't move. Just my luck to get the fighting section lol
