  • Anyone go to Bronson today?

I haven't been there for about 6 months- was wondering how their Sunday afternoon show went; car count, winners, attendance, etc. etc.

Read on facebook she was letting the Mods run the Hoosier slicks and the treaded, and the American Racer slick.
I sure miss that little bullring, maybe next season things will get turned around....

LoL, sounds like business as usual there

Only thing I can find so far about yesterday's race, got this from Bronson facebook page.

Came from orlando for the spectator race and ended up racing a car that was brought on a trailer not even driven there when spectator races are usually ur daily driver. Only to find out after losing to the car that had a roll cage, racing seats, Hoosier tires. It was a window net short of a racecar. It's one thing to lose but losing to someone who clearly should have not been allowed to race in a spectator race shows the folks here don't care about the rules and its not fair to those of us who are honest and trying to have a good time. To make it worse changed race line up and didn't even announce it to the drivers so almost missed the race but luckily saw them lining up. Very disorganized today and understaffed which showed, low crowd due to them having conflicting start times on here and website. But I guess if you are pouring out tranny fluid all over the track you need to trailer it there. Not to mention 2 year ago he was banned from the track for bringing a similar car on a trailer.

It says on website/facebook that they are racing on Saturday night November 26.
Tribute race to her late husband with Modifieds and Sportsman both running 49 lap features, plus Pure stocks and Strickly stocks.

RIP Jack Smith and Kim Brown. Many thanks for all you have done for our sport.

Scott--I have always liked a good Sunday afternoon matinae stock car racing program. I missed this one, though. I didn't see anything about it, and the last time I was there, in Feb. with the Tour Mods, didn't help things either. Goddam, that was a bad show. But I powered through it.
I admire your passion for the rare Sunday start times, and shows. Not just at this raceway, but the Gov. Cup is in 2 weeks------be there bud. r.
