SPRINT CAR MADNESS comes to Citrus County Speedway this coming Saturday night for the first time since new management took over the speedway. Come experience the fastest short track race cars on wheels on the newly repaved 3/8 mile track. It just doesn't get any better. If you are a Sprint Car racing fan come out in force to support them. Joining the Sprint Cars will be the always exciting Sportsman as well as the finest support divisions you'll see in competition at any Florida race facility.

Here's just about everything you need to know:

Sportsman - 50 Laps
Non-Winged Sprint Cars - 40 Laps
Pure Stocks - 30 Laps
Street Stocks - 25 Laps
Mini Stocks - 25 Laps

Kids 7-18: $5
Kids 0-6: FREE!

The Gates will be Opening at 5pm!
Racing will start at 7pm!

*Kick back on the patio of your choice with our high-top tables and bar stools! Tables are first-come/first-serve or guarantee your friends and family one NOW by making a reservation! It is $25 per table (includes 4 stools). Call or text (352) 476-7193 to reserve.

*Hang out by the Tiki Hut! Enjoy an ice cold Bud or Bud Light. Take advantage of our bucket of beer specials.

*Enjoy the Party Deck above the bleachers, or sit comfortably with your family in the family Seating!

Are they doing a sportsman autograph session at intermission like they did last week with the late models?

I have no official word as of yet. Do you approve of meet and great sessions like we did with the Super Late Models last week? I for one believe they are great as they give fans, especially the kids, the opportunity to go trackside to see the cars, meet the drivers, get autographs and have pictures taken with the drivers. I truly enjoy the wide eyes and big smiles on the kids faces when they make their way down to the track. Remember these kids are the future paying fans that will keep interest in short track racing going.

My thoughts exactly it is for the kids and as a driver I always love doing that for the kids and seeing the smile on there faces and seeing how happy it makes them see the cars and I was in attendance last week and I was hoping they would do it this week too and maybe you could interview the drivers during it
