  • Dick Anderson in the Hospital

Wayne Anderson's wife Laurie posted this on Facebook:

Just to update everyone on Dick. We aren't real sure if he had a heart attack or what but he is having a pacemaker put in tomorrow. We all appreciate the concern from everyone! Please keep him in your prayers. Mary isn't big on posting so I will try to keep you updated. I'm sure she is getting over whelmed with calls, as we are but we will pass on all the messages to her. Thank you to everyone that has reached out!!

She actually posted this yesterday evening... Dick is having surgery late this afternoon to install the pacemaker...

My Dad (who is considerably older than Dick) had one put in last year.

He is doing much better than he has in years.

    Get well soon, Dickie!!

Dick did not have the pacemaker today due to a mix up with meds at the hospital. Getting the pacemaker tomorrow(Wednesday). Spent several hours working on the a/c at Wayne's shop today. They appreciate all the concerns from all of us..

I am relieved the docs got to him before he had "the big one". He should be feeling pretty well with a pacemaker, and that is good because he has a lot of racing yet to do.

        Wishing a quick recovery!
