If NASCAR can find a way to change the direction the sport Is going in they have plenty of young talent ready to step up. Kyle Larson finally got his much deserved 1st cup win and was truly a class act afterwards. His first words were to dedicate his victory to the late Bryan Clauson. He is a very affable breath of fresh air at interview though I suspect the image makers may screw him up for the sponsors sake. A thoroughly enjoyable end to another otherwise boring NASCAR rendition of a race.I opened by mentioning the future and I based that on the fact that three of the top four are very young newcomers with 2 being 2nd generation in Elliot and Blaney.

Agreed
If only any of them could write legibly!! All kidding aside. I went to the first (and one and only) late model version of the Battle at the Beach( along with a packed crowd of about 150 people)which Kyle Larson handily won.A few days later he was in the catch fence on the big track at the end of the Nationwide series race.My girlfriend and I went through a line to get a poster and then have it signed by the starting field.I don't remember him not being at the autograph session but I sure can't pick his signature out.(Or really none of the others) Standing in that line ended up winning me tickets to the truck race that Friday as well as the Nationwide series race the following day.I do still have the posters and ticket stubs though and still amazed at the thought I had that day which was, jeez are any of these guys even old enough to drive on the highway?sigpic
