  • A little fun 360º action from my feature Wednesday

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hkv4F5QAes Here is the link if the YouTube preview doesn't load.

Figured I'd share this since the last one got a ton of views. We sat out a couple rain delays, and then Tour Modified qualifying. Anyone down there who has raced at NSS after the tour cars are on the track, knows how horrible the track is with their rubber on it. I couldn't get any drive for the first bit and got dragged back with a slow car at the start while they lined up on the bottom. Started 4th after being scheduled to start 5th but the pole sitter dropped a valve before we even made to staging lanes out back. Clawed my way back up to 5th on some 8 race old tires since we didn't want to kill the good ones on tour rubber. Pretty good night in the end and a ton of fun as always. Hope ya'll enjoy!

First off, for the one or two out there that may be as technologically challenged as I am, Phil does NOT do a 360. The camera do. It took me about half the video to realize the arrows in the top left corner would give you a nice view of his feet and whatnot.

Now, regarding the video, as you mention, the track looks oiled. Congratulations to Phil on his amazing (and somewhat surprising) powers of restraint. He backed out of approximately 423 holes that closed up, and does not have to replace the front sheetmetal this week. Good job, sir.

    Thanks for sharing.
