Bronson/Citrus schedule

Do I have this right? Citrus is running 2 weekends in August and Bronson is running the SAME weekends?

If there is a concern that 2 tracks that far about are running the same 2 Saturdays out of 4 then your/our sport has a problem.

this is about the dumbest thing of the year. so one of them will say I had those dates first right.
Well one has hade a so so year and the other is having a bang up grand opening with big races and purses.
The tracks are in the same market.
Lets think about it.... I know what I would do.. PUNT THE BALL.

I would think that the Ray family would be happy to work with Bronson to come up with a schedule that would benefit both tracks. At the very least, a schedule that would alternate classes. Maybe Bronson wasn't interested in working together.

Bronson has had several years to build a name for themselves ( good or bad ).. imo they did the later.... bad choices week after week, know it all attitude... low car/truck counts.

Conversely, Citrus hasn't even opened yet and ( imo ) they already have done super well... all kinds of changes... lower front gate cost ( vs every track in the State )... posted payouts ( seems higher than most ) I think they'll be no choice for anyone... Citrus will become my home track ( all the way from Tampa )... OSF

Just based on practice numbers alone, I would say that Bronson needs to align itself with Citrus. Bronson has had years to establish itself and it hasn't happened. Citrus hasn't even opened yet and the buzz is heard all the way through the state. Been watching the website updates and progress and can't wait to go over there. Bronson? Crickets.....
