Ralph Burkhalter passed away this morning after a long illness... He and his brother Don'l were fixtures on the Central Florida racing scene for many years then were a big part of their son's racing careers... Condolences to the Burkhalter family...

Along the way they have had, and continue to have, a big influence on the central florida short track scene.

Loved Ralph and Don L. My first year of racing at old Orlando raceway in 67 they had my back more than once. Tough but good hearted man, rest in peace Ralph.
