Another tough one to take... I worked the World Series with Tour Mod announcer Ben Dodge for many years and Mario was a fixture back then with his #44s and driver Reggie Ruggerio... The Reggie vs. Jimmy Spencer deal over several Speedweeks was so much fun to watch... Mario would always come up to the booth and say hi to everyone and would always take the time to answer questions in the pits... RIP Mario...

BTW, Mario and Reggie ran 58 World Series races at NSS and won 28 of them...
