We came soooo close. The feature was going to be a heck of a fine race, and the starter gave us "one to go", but when we came around to gas it up, we got the red flag instead. The track was really in the "hurry up" mode, but there was no way to race when the rain came down on the last pace lap.

In 20/20 hindsight, I wish the track would have changed the order of events, but now we have a double feature night on 7-16.

And I won my heat race!
