Man I cant wait to see him as he progresses to the next level. The new deal with Roush could be awesome as I dont really like anybody they have now. He has the talent and seems to be a smart, good natured kid - doing alot of it so far on his own.

Chase Elliott is great - but you knew he was never going to be without a ride. Also like to see what Daniel Hemric is doing - i kinda equated those two in my head after watching them at the SnowFlake a few years back. One had connections and money the other had to work a little harder for it - both have great talent.

I might just be able to get back into NASCAR if these guys can make it there..

He's definitely smooth but it's hard for me to judge his talent when his car is twice as fast as everyone else?

Chase Elliot is the son of a great.

Chase Elliot is also in a great car.

That said, there have been some with similar situations that have been unsuccessful.

Anyone watching him battling with Kyle Larson at Dover can see what a talent he is.

And I was pulling for Kyle, and Chase was holding him up, but still, the talent and the "clean" driving are undeniable (imo).

What does it for me is that he does it EVERYWHERE. Up north, down here NSS/FiveFlags, you name it, he is fast.

No doubt, I like Chase and agree with all that you said. His road was just paved a little more than others (Majeski/Hemric/etc). He had the talent to make it on his own, but would he have survived the gauntlet to get there? Lots of talented guys never make it.

Glad that he did and excited that some of the others look to be on their way.

And best of luck to Ty as well.

Good to see that the Blaney and Nemechek kids are doing well also.

I saw Adam Petty run a short track car once and he looked to be more talented than 'ol pony tail. A shame.

Ok, I really would have to say I disagree with this statement 110% The reason his car is fast is because he can communicate what the car is doing, to his crew chief, and they can make the adjustments to make it better. And they do it better then anyone right now.

I will tell you to win at the level he is at, requires a ton of talent! Period. You will see this kid in Nascar.

              Just my opinion... Vince P.

I don't disagree with you, that's a good point. I've considered how much input he has on car setup and communications with the crew but I don't have any inside knowledge on that? Doesn't he always unload with the fastest car out of the trailer?

It's not possible for you to disagree with me on any % tho because I only mentioned that it's hard for me to judge which you wouldn't know about.
