This Thursday May 19, the Charlotte County Airport Authority will address the Speedway lease at its regular 9:00 am meeting. The FAA has given its approval, and all the Board needs to do is to iron out some minor issues to approve the lease. If you are a race fan like me and want to see racing back at the Charlotte County Speedway, let me know!Commissioner Pamella Seay-https://www.facebook.com/commissioner.seay

GREAT!!!!! NEWS!!!! More Tracks more cars?
GREAT!!!!! NEWS!!!! More Tracks more cars? Hopefully with Citrus getting a redo and the rebirth of Charlotte County Speedway racers will rebuilt or dust off or even make NEW racers (because they feel good enough about our Sport that they build new).
Everyone knows the formula for success in our Sport:
RACE CAR counts means FANS count and that means profits for the Owners!
Plus everyone from starting local employment ,hot dogs sales, drink sales, parts sales, etc. and mostly to supporting the local business. Congrats to Joe and good luck in getting America's most southern asphalt Short Track open!!! She can be another piece of the economic rebuilding of our Sport!!! Lets all push the ball the same direction!!!
Go Joe Gooooooo................

Great News!!
Drove by last week and saw the fence is still up, does that mean the issues with the fence have been settled? Were the people who put it up been paid fpr their labor and material, or is the price of the fence included in the lease payments> Please comment Ms. Seay! Would hate to see the re-opening of the Speedway delayed because of this.
