Does this sponsorship benefit the competitors with $ or the promoter?

      Sponsor money

All sponsorship money goes to the competitors. We certainly hope this helps the race tracks an fans by having a better show. We feel if we can help the racer during the year with a little extra money to keep his team going it's good for all involved.

Bernie Sanders would have said it this way. "Those money grabbing promoters live off the racers and racing fans, they do not deserve one dime from what a sponsor gives to get their name out there". Yes it is nice that the racers get 100% of the sponsors money. However, what would have been the reply or replies if some of it went to promote the series and help pay some of the bills.

Cash for the participants that is put directly in their hands sounds better than the "trickle down" theory from the promoters. Much cleaner that way!

Make no mistake, this series is off on the right foot. Four events in, and I've seen that things run off effectively and professionally. Everyone is getting along as well as racers can, and I sure don't miss the drama. Its fun!

If you have any doubts about the sponsor money, consider my night. I started on the pole and managed to battle my way back to 7'th. Well, that was worth $400. They had a dash, (a consolation race) which I won and got $200 for that. To top it all off, the series gave me a $100 bonus from the last race in De Soto that I didn't even know about! In all, I went home with $700, and I assure you that it will all go in my car to get ready for the next race (minus vital expenses like track photos and our post race party to "Hooters").

Thanks to all the organizers and sponsors!
