Thompson Late Models vs. New Smyrna

Did anyone watch the Thompson Ice Breaker on Sunday? Some great racing!

As I was watching I was wondering how the late models up north would run against a lot of the competition we see at New Smyrna Speedway.

They looked slow compared to the guys we get down here for our big races...thoughts??

The results I saw from Thompson only showed a few names, but a couple of those have been to New Smyrna.
Keith Rocco's car was ACT legal when he ran here, and Larry Gelinas ran as a Pro Late.
Neither was a Super Late, but I am confused on how those 2 rules packages would up running together.

On another hand, they run "Pro Stocks" up there that are very similar to our Super Lates. And they run competitively with the Florida cars.
