Just read on "Jayski" that SHR is switching to Fords Next year. Bet that cost Ford a pretty penny.

Decisions that big don't happen overnight, i'd say this has been in the works for a while. I notice it isn't happening until after Tony retires. Could be part of the reason he's retiring.
I don't see it hurting the team's performance any, they're going to be very competitive in any brand of car. The SHR teams often outrun the Hendrick teams. After seeing the big performance gain by Truex and the 78 car in the 500, maybe switching brands is a good thing.
