Ozzie, It got all of the way up to 81 here today and 63 is supposed to be the low tonight. Late last week it got into the 90's with (are you sitting down?) 39% humidity BUT it was still in the 60's at night. I live outside of Glasgow, Kentucky about 60 or so miles north of Nashville on Barren River Lake.Last edited by Egoracing; 08-26-2008, 09:19 PM.

What in the hell were you guys talking about at the beginning of this post?
BJ, I'VE TOLD YOU ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS YOU DO A GOOD JOB. ESPECIALLY AT THE START OF THE SEASON AND ESPECIALLY WHEN AN ARTICLE POPS UP AT ME IN A PUBLICATION I'M READING.
OLDYELLER, I READ THE ARTICLE IN SPEEDWAY ILLUSTRATED IN FACT IT'S ON MY DESK RIGHT NEXT TO ME RIGHT NOW. ARE YOU STEVEN COLE SMITH? IF SO THANKS, THAT'S WHO IT SAYS THE ARTICLE IS WRITTEN BY.
I've flown probably over a million people world wide safely. Out of them maybe 50 stopped by the cockpit and said thanks, good job. Half of them were probably so scared they were just happy to be on the ground. A lot of us have or have had thankless jobs. Sometimes you have to take pride in the job you do on your own when you know you do it right.
Sometimes as track owners we have a deluge of information dropping on us and get pulled in every direction. Often we don't have the time or forget to give recognition when deserved.
So, THANKS to all the Ocala Speedway employees! Thanks to our fans and thanks to the fans that support your local track.
Mike
