Well back to the track, it's been awhile. 1/30/16 at Auburndale was an enjoyable evening of season opening auto racing. At least 75 cars in 8 divisions put on a decent show. Now lets hope everyone made it thru tech to complete the evening. John Berti behind the mic for the evening's 18 races. Races ran off pretty smoothly. Sportsmans 50 had 8 cars entered with Charlie Brown #11 taking the win, followed by Jason Rendall in the #157 and Brandon Morris in the #56. Lap 44 caution tightened the field for the finish, after Mr Brown had left everybody in his rear views during the first 44. He had taken lead on Lap #4. Great battles for second throughout the entire event. Good show. Mini Cup Feature saw #8 Russell Bush take the win. Legends cars (13) saw #7 Dakota Baggette (sp) take both his heat and feature. #5 Seth Adams finished second , with second heat winner Brandon Thompson #54 taking home 3rd. Mini Stock (7)main went to #5K Chris Narramore with #93 Bruce Cozad second and #71 Bobby Fellows 3rd. Scamblers (12) had Richard Edwards take the win in the #1. Street Stock went to #74 (name unavailable). Mod Minis saw #42 Chris Spring with the win, #5 Kristen Clements 2nd and #9 Scott Baumgarner 3rd. 15 Bombers saw the feature go to #123 Travis Roland, #57 Aaron Holmes (?) 2nd and Ed Schultz #36 in third. Every division put on some good racing and hopefully Mr Berti will be able to give us the official story of the evenings events. See ya at the Races !!!
