Sounds like some real haters down there below talkin' bad about other tracks and/or series here in Florida.

Passionate people probably should prohibit personal panderings pertaining to promoter's postulated parameters. (alliteration intended)

Of course when people actually write what they feel and think and then hit the post button there is always those few minutes of doubt after they re-read their post and go "oopsie...that goes against all the tripe I've been touting for years now. I better erase it."

Seems a little flippy-floppy morally if ya ask me when ya consider the amount of space dedicated to the smoochie-smoochie, love hugs usually dished out by the same posters. What on earth has happened that a great big group hug and a round of Kumbaya won't cure? Why all the hate? Can't you see that every promoter has a tough row to hoe and needs all your support to make it happen for him? Promoting in Florida is hard enough and I'm sure he has the best interests of everyone involved in mind. I mean, you aren't standing in his shoes so you probably shouldn't get too worked up or read too much into any decisions made that REALLY DON'T AFFECT YOU ANYWAYS.

Good gosh, it seems like I've heard that before somewhere.

So moderators....please, step up....track and promoter/owner bashing can't be tolerated on a racing message board! Get thee this smut off of here!

You talk about a guy that has his head stuck up his, oh never mind. You just showed yout toatal lack of understanding of what a promotor is supposed to do. Let me help you, Promote auto racing, now that does not mean just trying to make money, but also help the racer and put on a show for the fans. Trying to undermine everyone else for your own satisfaction and money values is pretty small and I think shows what a person is really all about. Not even the point of my post. Most who have been around a while will get it, I'm sure.
That's just for YOUR clarification, dude, although I have been around long enough to be fairly savvy to this racing gig and what promoters, racers and fans alike have to go through.

Just remember, as I've been told numerous times so I'll share it with you, opinions are great thing to have. And everyone has one. But unlike the other thing we all have, it's not as publicly accepted as you might think. And what you might call name calling is inherently conceived by the powers that be as something entirely different altogether.
See, when you've been a victim of censorship without merit, your belief in the system gets kinda hee-wacked. And while I wholly support your right to form and post your opinions, I don't hold the bottle of Windex.

In the end, ya gotta learn to chill out man, just read it, snicker and move on to the next post like everybody else will. Well, until it gets sent to the deleted post graveyard.

So sorry Mr. Perfect I see that in a hurry I spelled the word wrong, but I think even you can get the drift, well maybe I'm giving out too much credit there, but maybe a friend can try to help you understand. You think everything in Florida racing is on a up swing and looking good, everybody is happy, I don't. I guess like you said , just a difference in opinion, if somebody wants to windex the truth, so be it.

Did I say everything in Florida racing is on the upswing, looking good and everybody is....happy?

I don't recall ever saying that. Well, other than when I got a good bag of boiled peanuts one night at NSS. That was a pretty good night.

To the contrary, I worry about short track racing and it's future all the time. Like other folks I like to think I've got some answers to some of the problems being faced. I just don't own a track or a race car right now. (if I hit the lottery though, I promise to buy a couple of each) So other than posting on here, where everyone who may or may not agree can read and post their thoughts, how does the Average Joe (no pun intended to the guy who calls himself that) affect change in a system clearly in need of help?

Well, for one he could talk directly to the owner/promoter as a concerned fan and then hope he wouldn't get blown off, cussed at or barred from his favorite track. I'd like to think that most promoters are open to criticism and would use it as an effective tool for gauging their performance. I'd like to believe that. I just haven't seen it happen too much.

At any rate, I'm not perfect by a long shot. Just have a jones for correct spelling sometimes. Maybe it's because I was an overachiever in English class. (not really, that was a joke)

PS: don't kid yourself.....the truth has nothing to do with being Windexed.

What Osmosis is saying is that if perhaps he or I would have posted something negative about a promoter or track owner our post would have been deleted! Certain individuals can do this and get away with it! He and I have both been windexed before for saying something less than this. I was not even allowed to re-register on this new format for several months because I criticized this new board! If certain individuals that I call the chosen few do it it's okay. While he or I or many others did it we would be windexed and chastised!
Now that you understand that part the second part is don't get into a post pi$$ing contest with him! It makes as much sense as say calling the Bubba the Love Sponge live on his show to teach him a lesson. It want happen and didn't in this instance either! It only made this certain caller that did this look like a real fool and a loser!
This is the reason this board is just a ghost of what it used to be. And round mound of racing please start taking no for an answer. I am taken and it is starting to get embarrasing for you to keep trying!
