Sprint Car Series Names

If you were to start a new Sprint Car series, What would you call it.(be serious) and no TBARA, FAST, FUPS not one of them something NEW UNIQUE and catchy. GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO

Well, "winged devils of the asphalt" is out...

Seems like a name that is also a description would be best, but how do you bridge knowledgeable fans with neophytes?

And how do you separate it from "Sprint Cup"?

"Open Wheel Sprint Car Short Track Series"?

A thought--get a "name" to simply endorse (no work), hopefully for free. Then it becomes

"Al Unser's Open Wheel Sprint Car Short Track Series"

ps--am not big on acronyms, but is the acronym rather than the name per se important?

I like the "Buccaneer" name because it ties it to the Tampa area where most of the action is centered, but does not contain the word "Tampa", so we could be right at home anywhere in the south.

"Showdown" is cool, and could be a tie-in to "Showtime", which has been a pretty dependable supporter of the class in recent years. How would "Showdown" play at competing tracks like De Soto, Citrus or elsewhere?

Why "Desperado"? Because the word outlaw is been over-used for years, IMHO.

Someone with design skills could take over and do these right. Obviously, these are just quick concepts.

FOWL - Florida Outlaw Winged Legion - Could be run by all the "turkeys" who have brought Sprint Car racing to the point it's at currently in Florida...

TABRA - Taylor Andrews' Buccaneer Racing Association - Put Taylor in charge and the Sprints will be back in full force... and if you need help Mr. Andrews, I'm readily available!

How about a little direction as to what is "close"?

Is it an asphalt series? Wings? Is it a "name" or an acronym that we are looking for?

And btw, "World of Outlaws" always seemed a little goofy to me, but obviously it is lightning in a bottle. But was/is it once? How many other Sprint Car series do you have memorized? I have...none...

"World" sounds professional, and of course disney. "Outlaws" contradicts that. In fact, to me, "outlaws" says "outside of a series".

And the Acronym? WoO? woo-woo?

Nonetheless, it stuck, and is famous. But was it the name, or the Kinser/Swindell show first that made the name famous?

Was it the admittedly fanatical dirt fans (and more power to them)?

Will this be a TBARA style "club", a formal organization by a promoter, a catch phrase to simply be used at sprint car events...?

Anyhoo, hep me out here and possibly I can come up with more "names".
