  • Mr. D. investigates t-shirts

On another post someone wrote about you tube and Bowman Gray. You tube as amazing stuff on it. You can even bring up old tv shows. I was looking at some old Richard Diamond Private Eye tv shows from 1958. David Janssen played Diamond. Switchboard operator girl was name Sam. All you saw of her was her hands and great looking LEGS and of course high heels. She was played by Mary Tyler Moore. Diamond would call her from is car mobile phone. Another name for the show was Call Mr. D. I believe someone on the radio show Monday night said something about investigating the t-shirt deal which "bring back the track" has for sale. So I thought I would help out. So here goes.

I called Tam (that is my switchboard girl) on my mobile (cell) phone and ask her to do some LEG WORK for me. I asked her to check on how to find out names on charities and who runs them. She got back with me on my mobile (cell) phone. She told me to google www.sunbiz.org so I did. I wrote in Lycett and Stuart Lycett came up. He has a charity called Big Hug, Inc.
On the "bring back the track" web site it says that all the net proceeds will be donated to a local non-profit that will be picked at a later date. Just wondering now who could it be.

Seriously, Darren, what is your problem? Are you against the track re-opening? Because for all of us who would like to have our home track back, you're doing nothing but impeding the progress. If you have such a hang up over who's getting the money, maybe you should look into just how much it's costing the person(s) behind reopening the track! So what if they're making a few bucks on t-shirts! I'd spend triple what they paid for them if it meant helping the track get opened back up! Please leave the man alone and let him do this! Most of us who don't have a complex understand why the investors don't want to be known. And it's because people like you do things like this.

I believe that Mr.D would like a t-shirt but is afraid to pay for it because the money might go to somethng else like terrorists or, drug dealers. Maybe yet Mr. D wants to sell his own save the track shirts. Darren please don't worry where we buy our clothes and we won't bother telling you what to wear. As someone who has raced at the track and would love to see it reopen, some of us would do anything to have our track reopened, even if it means sending money to people that you do not agree with.

Pay attention to what Mr.D is saying. Call your local government officials to see if there is anything at all being done in any way.
