Nice job Richard... A side note to Wayne's Little 500 win in 1979... He actually won the race while being treated in the emergency room at the local hospital! He was involved in a big crash with a few laps to go and was plum knocked out! Wayne was placed in the ambulance and, during the red flag, his car owner went to work and got the car repaired just good enough to keep going and he put Danny Smith in the car to run the last few laps... Wayne had a pretty decent lead before the wreck and Smith just drove around the track as fast as he could... Smith took the checker for the win although Bob Luscomb always said he thought his driver Dave Scarborough actually took the lead and the win with two laps to go but the track officials said he only got back on the lead lap...
