CHARLOTTE COUNTY MOTORSPORTS PARK RACING FOR AUG. 23rd
Aug 23rd, the battle goes on at the 3/8 mile asphalt track in Punta Gorda as
the Sportsman return to do battle for 50 laps of always fast paced action, who
can beat the 79 of Steve Gainey out of Bradenton who has won the last three in a
row and is "gaining" on the points leader Aaron Williamson.
Open Wheels will run a 35 lap feature, will points leader and winner of the last
race Wayne "the rocket man" Jefferson make it two in a row.
The exciting Florida Suncoast Outlaw Street Stock will be back to do battle,
does anyone have anything for the yellow 09 of Donnie Ollie Jr who crossed the
line in first place the last two times out.
There will be a Faster Pastor race, Thunder Trucks, Pro 4, Fab 4 and if that was
not enough
the FIGURE 8 RACE, RUN WHAT YA BRUNG AND HOPE YA BRUNG ENOUGH, that consists of
big cars, little cars, trucks and even sportsman. Fans need to get there early
because the open wheels will be running early so some drivers can run two tracks in one night, CCMP supports drivers that can do that in these times
and wish them the best of luck.
