I had 100% intentions of lease/purchasing one of two tracks up by me. SO I asked questions about everything IN THE OPEN so people could get there >02 in BEFORE i spent the money. Well dear old Russia went into Georgia and the Euro went APE. I have an interest in that we want to establish an operation in Germany or Norway for my real business. SO to make a long story short we pulled in our horns and will be worrying about our bottom line not a track purse for about a year. Not giving up 100% BUT just going to try in 2010 to lease and 2011 to purchase. For this I got my head handed to me. YOU know the drill, BS, NO MONEY, LOOKING FOR FAME IN A BOTTLE.
Well I take my hat off to ANYBODY who is trying to run a track, juggle another business AND keep all happy. You are better than me and probably younger also.

My business is a live and well it is an expansion of $1.65 mill Euro that has got to be handled. The fellow running Germany is doing well but could do better with More SPACE so He can handle the full product line.
Leatherique has grown from 10 to 15% every year for the last 5 including now. Yes we have a couple of drops BUT they are more than made up for by Leather Dye sales division. No Franks and beans just I am not going to spend money that I might need someplace else. Our Budget for 2008 is gone and 2009 was set up but the race track comes under the same heading as my model railroad , "George's Toys" that is a real line item from our CPA

We went to that track for a big street stock race one year it was in 2002 or 03...was alot of cars there for it I remember.Thats a nice track,the sun was already up when the checkered dropped.
Your right with todays economy on prices of fuel and the cost of living in general.....It isnt so easy come for track owners anymore,So it seems like they would appreciate any promotion and help they can get to bring the fans and drivers in from anyone
