Looking for a Welding Teacher for Hillsborough County School District. You need 6 years of employment in the field. You start at seven year pay scale. If you can Stick, Mig, and Tig there could be an opening for you. This is for High School. Call me at 813-817-RACE(7223).

Don't forget about ALL the B.S. you have to go thru to get a Teaching certificate. 60 hours of ESOL training, night college for several semesters, the district classes, the papers you write for those classes, and there is MORE!!!! Forget about a life for about at least a year. Got to have certifications in welding by recognized associations. Just like us in Automotive, we are required to have 9 ASE certificates. And a lot of these things ARE NOT FREE. Plus you will probably take a HUGE cut in pay. I sure did 25 years ago. You just don't walk in and start welding. Got to have classroom management skills. A clean background check. I could co on and on.

      It's not for everyone.

It's not for everyone. You may have to Teach kids like some of our KARNAC
      cast of writers.
