August in Ohio

Ive been around the Buckeye state for 3 weekends now this summer and have got to visit a few dirt tracks thaT I had never been to and a coupl blacktop tracks that I had.I have seen some good and some bad and one or too places a four wheel drive might have been put to good use.So far the scoreboard reads like this.Hilltop Speedway for dirt late models and open wheel modifieds (and they do mean Hilltop) Lorain County Speedway for supermodifieds and open wheel modifieds,Fremont speedway for 410 sprints,305 sprints late models and a very entertaining v8 minitruck division.Skyline speedway fort dirt late models and modifieds was next and then finally Midvale for outlaw late models and open wheel modifieds.Columbus Motor Speedway (my old hometrack) is up next on saturday hopefully to be followed up by the recently reopened Mansfield Speedway (now operating as Spitzer Motor Speedway).Many more tracks on the radar for the next 6 or 7 weeks.Hopefully some that I havent gotten too before.

When were you at Midvale...? This past weekend (Aug 15)? I was in North Carolina visiting the grandkids...

..to be followed up by the recently reopened Mansfield Speedway (now operating as Spitzer Motor Speedway).

On Sunday, the 23rd?
