Dang, I hope that races as good as it looks. It will be great to have this track back in the rotation. Used to be one of my favorite places to see late models when it was paved. Looks like a really first-rate job getting it ready.

My first trip there was the 1st year it was paved. Never seen a Dirt race there.
For completely selfish reasons (because I can't make it on the 8th), I'm hoping for a rain out that pushes it back a week or 2. I REALLY want to be there for opening night.

There is 'something special' about being part of an opening night. I've been to several, and it's damn cool to be part of.

The photo does make it look like a well prepared track. My only hope is that they work with and not against Liz and Phil at North Florida Speedway. They have done a superb job of keeping racing alive in north Florida and have always done everything possible to cooperate with drivers fans and other tracks. If they end up going head to head in a hostile involvement then I fear all parties drivers, fans and tracks will lose, They coexisted for years and still can.
