They run around $650 depending on the track

couldn't have said it better myself.

To top it off, 99% of the 100 lap races mandate a tire purchase at the track, so even if you found a way to get them cheaper by working out deals....you cant run them.

Late model racing has turned into more of the rich daddy syndrome, pops floats the bill because lil jhonny is the next big thing. spending $2k plus a night to win $800 for 1st .....

great for lil jhonny.......shitty for our sport.
