    YOHOO RESEPTIVE TO HIS RACERS

    GARRITY
    RACER FRIENDLY RULES
IF ITS BROKE IT NEEDS FIXED

BY ADAPTING NSS RULES YOU WENT FROM A TRACK LIKE EVERY OTHER TRACK BESIDES NSS THAT HAD A SHOCK CLAIM RULE NOW YOU DONT NOW YOU HAVE OPENED THE DOOR FOR PEOPLE TO SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON SHOCKS AND YES ITS A STEEL BODY SHOCK WITH INTERNAL ADJUSTMENTS AND BASE VALVES THIS IS WHY RACE TRACKS DONT LET RACERS MAKE THE RULES!

I am strongly against high dollar shocks. Maybe someone can 'splain it to me, but it seems to me that the handling ought to be done with the springs and sway bars, and the shocks are there to keep the wheels from bouncing.

And enough RF spring to avoid coil bind.

If everyone was running that, where is the downside... maybe I am missing something.

And, is not the genie out of the bottle already at NSS? And shocks or no shocks, that 28 car was having no issues in the handling or bite departments.

All that said, I will wager that Yoho saw the NSS Sportsman car count and thought--"we run those rules, we get those cars".

Similar to the F-53 tire that the mods wanted to run. "They want those tires, I'll get those tires. Whatever gets me the most cars".

Note: Don't want to put words in Robert's mouth. I made that up. That is my guess. But that does not mean it may not be accurate.

Calm down, AMF. CAPS=YELLING. I'm confused. Don't AMF cars usually run very strong at NSS? 28 passed Patrick from behind to beat him last Sat at NSS. Brandon Morris and Aaron Williamson have had a ton of success at NSS running your shocks too. Are you aware of someone exploiting this rule at NSS? If not, then it's really not a problem. I'm all for claimer rules on shocks but Showtime's $65 rule was unrealistic. Do you sell shocks for $65 for your cars? And how are the racers writing the rules? We suggested a tire that was turned down for a different one but that's about it. I am unaware of any racer writing the rules at NSS. And although I like NSS rules, I have made no attempt to influence Yoho on these rules. Heck, I haven't even raced there yet. But I will on Aug 15th because these rules make my car legal there. Yoho was getting terrible single digit Sportsman fields. 27 at NSS Sat nite looks pretty damn good. They are working with NSS on Brighthouse so this just makes sense. I'm sure your cars will run up front on Aug 15th. Good luck!

          SCOTT--YEAH, YOU, SCOTT!

Do you know if the "NSS rules at St Pete" include the 750 tire (post #1 from Mr. Day indicates "100%")?

Yes. As of June they have gone to the R750 exclusively. That was another thing keeping cars away. Still allowing the 650/450. They are a little quicker and created the scenario of needing stickers for an advantage. An expensive proposition if you arrive wanting to win. The R750 is good enough to win on for 2-3 races. Another good call IMO.
