Back in the Old Days!!!
It's funny we stopped by "Q" Auto & Injury Attorneys race shop on Thursday. The James Gang was working hard on getting #70 Street Stock ready for ST Thursday Nights Madness. Of course the topic of FASTRUCKs came in to conversations. Yeah your right the rules and how to get back to the way the racing was "Back in the Old Days"!!!!!
Well I can tell you that the race on 6-6-15 with 28 FASTRUCKs / "Q" Challenge Pro Trucks was as good as the "Good old Days". All Series go through a growth period. The Trucks started in 1995 with one truck and Blue Sky Reality. Yes the rules got a little on the wild side. But, Chevys, and Fords still put on a HELL-of-a RACE!!!! So THANKS Bob for capturing the action of "The Good Old Days". Damn that Dodge would run. James won many of the FASTRUCK races and was torn down also as much as Bodie Boones bad ass Budweiser #8. Yes we need to get back to checking the winners and the field in Tech, but it is off to a better start than in 1995. Thanks to all the Teams and Drivers that have made it to the level at it's peak. Now it's time to get to business and support the Tracks that support the Series that brings 28 touring racers to put the Fans the Tracks grandstands. Hope to see everyone in Citrus. Please say a pray for Gary and his Family. Oh yeah James said he's thinking about building another truck.
