61roughed up the 99 enough to probably cost him his shot. Allowed 7 to check out. The get er done leprechaun keeps all his gold. One more yellow and that would have been interesting. Anti-climatic finish.

I would say Robert was happy with the turnout. Heard the 00 mini stock's pole qualifying time was disallowed for ride height. Then the 65 was DQ'd after the feature. Not sure why. Told was 3rd DQ in a row for the 65.

Strictly stock race was entertaining. I believe they had 18 cars. Lots a beating, passing and sideways action. And they even had a spectacular crash after the race was over resulting in a car flipping over and sliding down the back stretch on its roof.

School bus figure 8 had 9 buses and was mostly boring. One big green bus did flip on the back stretch and the driver was taken away by ambulance for a broken arm. I believe his arm came out of the bus when it flipped as they had to use a loader to pick the bus up to get the driver out. He was then loaded up in a ambulance and the race was red flagged for 20 minutes because they had to wait for the ambulance to come back before racing could resume.

SUV demo derby lasted about 5 minutes, 6 entries. Jeep Cherokee won.

Glad you made the decision, sir! I'm sure you weren't disappointed. That place was an absolute madhouse. Yoho interrupted the drivers meeting by driving up and screaming and howling that he had found more OWM's to come race so that we had the shot at the challenge. Billy Mowery was in Mexico and he allowed someone to go get his car and start it, and Yoho talked Stickler into going and getting his Figure-8 car and starting it as a OWM. The same with the 94. He did everything in his power to get the minimum and he made it happen.

Standing room only and over 70 cars between three classes....if you have anything negative to say about what this guy is doing then please, take up shuffle board or some other form of excitement because as crazy as he is, he makes it happen.

Oh yeah, and it was a THURSDAY night!

                            thanks for the advice

There's no one like him in WI- I guess that's why short track racing is dying up there LoL

Slinger Nationals will be on a Tuesday- place will be packed, no "figure 8" cars will be needed to fill the field, and the promoter doesn't act like a crackhead

In FL, we can do that at the racetrack Joe. Or at a Walmart.
