  • Devils of the Asphalt on Bradenton Marauder Night at the races....

Devils of the Asphalt will burn up the black top on "Bradenton Marauder Night at the Races". This weekend Desoto Speedway brings the Winged Sprints back to "The Palace of Speed"! We have been at the Pittsburg Pirates / Bradenton Marauders Base Ball field all week to get new Fans to go to the "Fastest 3/8's mile Speedway in the South". If your a Pirates / Marauder Fan wear your Team's hats or shirts and get in FREE!!!!! We have had the Super Late Model Display are car at the beautiful new Pittsburg Pirates stadium and meeting their Base Ball Fans and inviting them out to the Speedway Free. We are working hard at getting the word out about the sport we LOVE!!!!. The Winged Sprints are one of the BEST SHOWS for them to see. Just the brute speed of the Winged Devils on the Speedway will open their eyes. Plus all the Desoto Fans will get free tickets to come out the Ball Park to see the Marauders play FREE!!!! So bring the kids (bring ear plugs) and enjoy the Devils of the Asphalt. We are cross marketing with the Pirate Management to fill those empty seats at both venues to give a greater value to our Sponsors bill boards. Also see the STREET STOCK's, LEGENDS, MIDGETS, Champ KARTS, ROAD COURSE, FLAG POLE, and ENDURO's race their hearts out. So come out get free tickets to the Base Ball game and enjoy a Great night at the RACES!!!!

Baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet,Dodge and Ford!!!!

Last night was the BIG push for getting Base Ball Fans to come out to the races. You would not believe how many people that use to go to the races, but haven't been in years. The kids loved the Super Late Model. We should have a good crowd. Remember what's the most expensive seat at Desoto???? The answer is the empty one (you can't win over new Fans if they aren't there). Now it's our job to put on a show that will keep the new (or past) Fans returning to the best BANG for your BUC entertainment. I am sure the Devils of the Asphalt will do it!!!! Come out and see the fastest 12 minutes in motorsports. Remember if you have a Pittsburg or Bradenton Marauder shirt, hat or fan towel bring it and get in FREE!!!!

Little Leaguers that play for the "Pirates" (or any Little Leaguer in uniform for that matter) should be let in free too! Let's build a new generation of race fans!

Little League-age 9-13 can play (unless you're a Dominican Pitcher)

Thanks for foiling my marketing strategy!

Nevermind that, Parnelli Jones drove--and won--in a Mercury Marauder.

Not only in Cup, but at Pikes Peak.

                  Now that was drifting, chilblings.

                    Hell yeah!!!

Scotty let just have it Base Ball Night at the Races!!!!! Any Team any League. Desoto's 12 and under FREE!!!!!!! It was so cool last night. I was sitting next to the net behind the home plate and the Catcher tagged out a runner coming to home. I cheered and gave a thumbs up. Hell tossed me the ball. Damn that was so cool. I gave it to a little boy with the biggest blue eyes who had been chasing foul balls all night and was beaten out by older kids. He's coming to the races Saturday. Maybe I can get Davey Hamilton to sign his shirt. My new motto win over one Fan at a time!!!! Hope to see all the BIG TIME SPRINT CAR FANS!!!!

That's what I'm talkin bout, Bobby! (BTW, policy has been 10 and under).

I find that when I work on my car in my front yard people stop by and say "Where do you race that?" When I tell them most say they had no idea but they were big fans back in "insert state here". I then tell them the two nearest tracks and to come out. We need to get the word out better to the "transplants" that love racing. AND we need to get a new generation involved. Great job cross promoting with the Marauders! Very smart thinking on your part! Keep up the good work!

It's funny every time I see an enclosed trailer I wonder????

It's funny every time I see an enclosed trailer I wonder???? Is it a race car or lawn equipment. I LOVED the olds days of seeing cars on open trailers. I am putting "Ask me for Tickets to Desoto Speedway" on all my Display and Promo props. Tomorrow I be at the Lakewood Sporting Center Complex. I got 700 FREE Marauder tickets for Sunday 6-28 and Desoto tickets as well. I LOVE talking to people. Last night I meet three girls that are homed schooled because they are working on being Olympic Ice Skaters that practice at the Ellington Ice Palace and they are coming as well. Your DEAD right cross marketing is a great way for all of us to win. In February and March they have 9,000 to 10,000 fans at the Marauder Base Ball Complex!!!! I meet the Dad of one of the Pittsburg Pirates pitchers. He's going to ask him to be our GRAND MARSHALL for a Race or two. They LOVE the hard work I give them. But damn 16 inning is though. I started at 5:00 AM got home after 1:00 AM. Long days!!!! But worth it!!!! Hope to see you there!!!!

It would be good to get a few of our cars there during Spring Training. Maybe even a few different Spring Training stadiums within the Bradenton area. During Speedweeks would create a great tie-in when Stock Cars are on everyone's mind.
