That was Seekonk 1985 I believe. Only full time Ford and only one worth a damn at any rate. He opened a can of whoop ass weekly. What's killing is I can't find my Jimmy Wilkins Jr. signed pic. I will though in time. I have about 2,000 signed photos and hero cards.

I didn't pass him but I held my position all crossed up and all. I didn't get a chance to apologize to Aaron but I will and I'm sure he's ok with me. I'm sure he knows (as usual) it was just me being stupid, not evil. I remember after hitting him thinking "DON'T SPIN, DON'T SPIN AARON!" and like the awesome driver he is, he drove out of it. I had a chance on a late restart to make a bottom shot move on him but since I was tight in the middle I decided I might not be able to keep from sliding up and take him out. The brain worked and I didn't do it. I figured I had used up all my favors anyway! Aaron's always been good to me on and off the racetrack. He's one of the guys that make this division so much fun.

Speaking of Dave Dion, here's more. Anyone know who the #35 Charger guy is?

And here is Jimmy Wilkins Jr. with Herbie, Herbie on the night we lost him on top of Dave Dion, and I am guessing Herbie's successor.

Dave Dion now lives in Port Orange (I think) and is very involved with the Living Legends over in Daytona... He and I gave the "beach racing tour" on the bus a couple of years ago that had former NASCAR GN driver Jim Reed and his wife on it... Dave is a really cool guy and quite a character...
