Is "all tech" the sponsor? You know, maybe they sold the naming rights?

Maybe so. I "googled" and didn't find anything local called All Tech.

Sounds like a good name for the Snowball or NSS in speedweeks.

Wendell Durrance owns it? I used to race against him all the time at St. Augustine Speedway when it was dirt. One of my favorite feature wins was holding him off with him beating on my back bumper. Cool guy, good luck to him!

I put a little four banger mini stock off right there one night. I mean, I, put him, off! 72 Chevelle Vs Datsun. I didn't mean to but I didn't see him out there. He was not "there" ya know? He's not still out there is he?

Sad to see the pavement come up but if that's what it takes for it to survive.

Also I wonder what the plan is for walls. It's ugly when a car goes into that creek there on the back stretch or one of the trees. I've seen both and the tree killer went to the hospital for a few weeks. Throttle stuck going into one and away he went, and the trees in one are pretty far away, the ones in two are pretty close in comparison. BTW it was a bomber not a very fast race car really.

No plans for drifting from what I hear...

Picture of front stretch posted today on Face Book. All-tech Raceway on Face Book.. Back stretch woods have been cleared out for the RV Park. Infield will be for staging only and track vehicles.

Wendell is a great guy and I don't THINK he owns it. Manager, I believe. Good engine builder too! Big ol Teddy bear! HAHA!

Haha, I've been off both ends a few times but never in the ditch after turn 2! I think they're filling all that in. I've hit the !#%& walls a time or two also. Totaled one of my cars and I'm betting that concrete put a lot of other racers OUT of racing. Hated em, worst thing they EVER did to that track.

Always nice to see a new track in my neck of the woods. I do see problems on the horizon as Putnam has Fridays and North Florida is working with them and Golden Isles to coordinate classes. Phil and Liz have in my opinion done a fantastic job of tuning a dump into a very nice facility. They have tried to please competitors and fans alike and seem to have done so. I fear someone is going to end up the loser and am not sure who it will be. Ellisville did what they had to do as pavement racing in N, Florida is doomed other than Pensacola. I hope it can be worked out but may require some magic to do so.
