Just saw the end.of a segment on ch 2 news, didnt hear what happend. Said they stopped the race short because of whatever happened.

Loose wheel from an on track car struck someone in the pits. I'm not sure about the injury but supposedly hit him in the head.

He has a back injury but nothing serious.

Very fortunate then, when i was a kid, i recall a lady getting killed by a tire out there. Stray tires are dangerous as hell.

You are right about loose tires Bubba , I was out there in the 70's when lady got hit by tire and also there last Sat night when Ron car owner #118 got hit ----- last race of the night , one lap to go .
