On paper this should help the car counts at the "Final Four" but I'm not sure how that will play out in reality.
Scott, don't forget Bronson Speedway which is a nice asphalt track in Archer, FL. It may be suffering from low car counts but it is still running. They have already picked up a few of the drivers who raced at Citrus County Speedway, maybe a few more guys will go there in the weeks to come.

Bronson Raceway----I was just looking at their car counts. Not too shabby, not great, better than usual, but still not too shabby. Bronson Raceway is a strange little 3/8 miler, patterned after Monadnock Raceway in New Hampshire, go figure that one out. It's kind-of squared-off in the corners, boxy somewhat. The machines come flying off of the far corners.

I don't count Bronson because it's so badly mismanaged. The ONLY reason the car counts are slightly better is because Citrus is closed. I love the track and come to think of it, it is very reminiscent of Mad Dog (Monadnock). It's just too bad it's run so poorly. You would think Ann would know better being from Riverhead. Take this Sportsman Triple Crown thing. By making you have to run all 3 races everyone else is now locked out except for the 12 cars that made the first one. I'm sorry but 12 cars is not a good field. They seem to be falling all over themselves about actually drawing 12 cars. Sign of how bad it is there. I would love to go up and run the third leg of the Triple Crown in July but there is no way in hell that I'm going to pay a $50 entry fee, buy 2 tires and buy 5 gallons of racing fuel that I don't use to run for one third of the purse that everyone else is running for. Sorry.

Does the back straight feel like washboard at Bronson? God I hate Monadnock's surface lol Fun track but it needs some attention

No, but I remember how the heat can buckle the asphalt too. And I also remember how the rain on the dirt side roads would make a washboard... That's about what that place feels like lol

Bronson's surface is old but for some reason it's very smooth. It's a great track to run because like Mad Dog both ends are waaaay different. But it ain't no 3/8 mile. It takes a 1/4 mile gear to get your R's right. Maybe things will improve, maybe not....

                  3/8 mile

                  I believe 3/8 outside ,1/4 inside ,1/3 middle , your choice
