  • Joe Harris

We lost one of the top local car builders today as Mr. Joe Harris passed away from cancer. Joe was a truly great guy and a master at building fast cars, especially Modifieds... He was part of the legendary Lewis Green Amick Construction team before going out on his own... He was always ready to help anyone, anytime... Personally, I got more good information about "behind the scenes" stuff on local racing from Joe than anybody else... You will be missed my friend...

Joe was a good guy for sure. I didn't meet him till last yr and realized how nice he was. RIP Joe you will be missed by many. I feel bad I didn't get to know him longer than I did.

Sorry to hear that, Joe was one of the most knowledgeable car builders you'd ever want to meet. And he always had some good stories to tell.

Joe Harris cars always simply looked fast--and were/are. Jacko's car is of course beautifully engineered as well.

They were driven by the best along the way, from Balough to Anderson, countless names actually.

          Condolences to his family.
