Yelp!!! Stepping into the DEEP END!!!!!!

Can't slip anything by you guys. Yes, as you know I HAVE GOT IT BAD!!!!! The PASSION for our sport is addicting. Denny owns "The Palace of Speed" and asked if I could help in the filling of the pits and the Grand Stands. My answer "HELL YEAH"!!!!! We have put together a Marketing Group of Company's that Sponsor or are Supporters of the Speedway. At present we have: Budweiser, Pepsi, Buddy's Home Furnishing, Wing House, Beef O'Brady's , Uncle Johns Sausage, and Sonnys BBQ so far. Be looking for not only GREAT racing, but Poker Runs / Bike Night, Car Shows, Go Karts, Monster Trucks, Concerts, Auto Cross, Drifting and MUCH, MUCH MORE!!!!! But, the real deal is the RACING!!!!! We want to ROCK the Fans out of their seats and make parking in the front lot their toughest thing for the night. We want them to plan on getting here early to get their favorite seats. So far we have Manatee County Schools coming twice. The June 6th it's "Students Night at the Races" and on June 13th we have the "Teachers, Employees and Staff Night at the Races". Every week we will have a new theme company or business as their "Night at the Races". So getting wet is part of swimming in the DEEP END!!!! Hope to see all of you at the RACES!!!!

Bobby, if you want to get a good field of Sportsman cars for that June 13th race it is imperative that you get Denny to have Linda post the purse and laps to be run asap. I am hearing from a lot of the Sportsman guys that the reason they are not coming is that the laps and purse isn't being announced until the week of the event. Some of us need to budget and/or plan to make these events. The purses have been very good but us working class Sportsman guys need to know as early as possible. Please help!

I apologize, Linda. I didn't mean to make it sound like you weren't timely. I know you are on here posting everything Desoto asap. What I meant was that Denny needs to get this info to you sooner since you are the one who posts it. Waiting till the week of is hurting our car counts imo. Last time Sportsman ran with the Supers we ran 35 laps for $800 to win and we ran heats. If it is going to be the same deal then why not post it soon so guys can plan? Also any 50's planned for the future would draw more cars if they were put on the schedule. There are a bunch of guys who travel around for the 50's but they need to plan too.
