Started 21 sportsman. That was a good turnout.
Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

It's high time that NSS puts up a $500 bonus for Patrick to start shotgun and give him the cash if he wins.

C'mon, starting 20+ Sportsman every race you know the $ are there. How about it NSS?

          Fat chance of that

Fat chance of NSS adding money to a class that low on their list. If it was Pro lates or Supers, then it could happen. Here's a plan....Start high point in the rear, low on the pole....new to the rear first week, on pole the next. It worked for years and years. Then someone cried about it that had a little money. Now you know the rest of the story. 22 cars top fastest 6 or 7 start in the front, and away they go! look a there, boys. But it's no big thing. And no one knows why the stands have no one in them anymore.

Ain't that the truth! People don't want to pay to watch a parade. I remember when there were only two classes of cars, late model and hobby stock. Everyone ran a time trial lap and the whole field was inverted; fastest on the tail, slow on the pole. If qualifications were rained out or waived because of other reasons, field was lined up by points like you said - high points in the rear, lowest up front. They packed the stands every week. Now ya have 7 or 8 classes and only 4 or 5 cars in each class (except special events) with fastest on the pole - boring!
[B]RACING![B] Because football, basketball, baseball, and golf only require ONE BALL!

This was a good race not just because I won, the first 13 laps were really good for the lead between Aaron in the 13 car and myself. We ran side by side for the better part af the first 13 laps. Sitting in the car under the lap 13 red flag hearing the fans in the stands cheering for the great racing that was going on was so cool to hear. There were several restarts that kept the field close for most of the race, that was the hardest I've been pushed to try to keep the lead for a long time. It's great to see the car count staying up for this class, it's a tough field, there have been many cars torn up this year and the racers just keep fixing them and coming back. There is a big diversity in the body styles, but also in the motor department as well as half the field is running the 602 crate motor, while the rest are running the open motor option. Hated to see the #34 car get DQed again for soft tires, Austin ran a great race to finish second. Great job by Scott Bramlett on finishing 2nd, he has had lots of troubles with his car but put it all together for the big race.

Also I heard rumblings again about my crate motor being a good one, well you could be the proud owner of that motor all you have to do is call Nesmith Chevrolet in Georgia and have them drop ship me a new one to my door, and I'll pull mine out and trade you mine for the new one in the crate.
My phone number is 407-223-6439 if you need my shipping address.

I dunno, there is always the possibility it could be the driver that has something to do with the success...

a great turn out in the stands NSS charged 5.00 to get in I would have had no problem paying the normal price it was a great sportsman race . I just heard from a friend that some of the E-mod guys are switching to sportsman class this just keeps getting better. great job Patrick great car and driver . and those 13 laps were intense and the restarts.

I've been pushing this division on some of the nawtherners here and we are in the talks of building a very similar division like this up here because of what you guys have been able to do down there. Maybe some of us will even make it down for the World Series

LOL As I have said, I simply provide suggestions based on what I see work here and what is obviously not working there. If I see something blatantly obvious, I call it out. I am not afraid to tell what's in my head. Some tracks have the game figured out right now (Showtime for sure based on what I have seen and heard) and some tracks don't. You guys are free to do as you wish, but you can't get mad at me for wanting to see you guys do better.

We just put my grandparents in assisted living. I have been guilted into sticking around for a little bit but I will be there pretty soon. Already talking to a couple places for work. Have no fear lmfao!

                            Patrick

I have heard the same thing about my motor. Guys always seem to think you have a cheated up motor since you win and done realize you and I beat them thru the corners. They have done almost every test on my motor and guys still say it's cheated up and that they should tear my crate motor apart. I have told everyone the same thing you did and that I would take 3000 and I'll pay the extra for a new crate that I don't care. I wish we raced the same nights as the sportsmans but good job again and congrats.
