I will, thanks for your permission! Speaking of English lessons, you only need one what in that sentence.

Yup, I made a mistake. I can admit that because I'm not a narcissist. At least you admit you're a troll. That's the first step!

Yeah, I know Joe. Just bored today because it's my day off and it's pouring rain and I can't work on my Sportsman. Need to heed my own advice. "Don't feed the trolls..."

I understand, Mr. Albee does have some use with his entertainment value.

"Mandatory track tire and track fuel purchase [at auburndale]?"-Mal be

But he is buying tires and fuel, presumably for Jeff Scofield (no offense to Jeff Scofield).

He does bring a bit of laughter with his comments.

My guess is that a LOT of today's racers seem to *FORGET* that this is a hobby. Unless you're Sprint Cup/Xfinity/Trucks/ARCA or other major series racing, there's very few *local* Saturday-night guys that are in this for the money.

Gotcha, but here is another take. Sure, the non-junkies that are a few bucks up and know what they can spend and that is it--they get the hobby thing.

But I would suggest that in the lower classes, and probably some of the higher ones, there is a second mortgage taken out for a motor, or the first credit card is maxed and the second one is paying the payments on the first.

Like gamblers, they are in deep and caught up in the game and, as of right now, haven't figured out how to live and race.

Those guys, and they break my heart, are already freaked and the $100-$500 makes a big difference and it is a psychological thing. "I have done all this and I am in trouble and you are going to pay me WHAT??"

It ain't "right", or maybe even rational, but it may be what is true in their head right now--and explain the behavior.
