The good news is, now you don't have to know anything about tire softener, because it's not legal anywhere. If you run it at the tracks I race at, you will be caught. It has happened several times in the last year, people try to play the tire softening game, and they have gotten busted. 10 years ago every big team in Florida had to have a rotisserie in there bag of tools to make them go faster, now that is a big expense that has been eliminated. Not to mention, the chemicals in tire softener were probably killing us all.
