I know it's just a 25 lapper but wouldn't it be cool if someone like Dorer or Dutilly or Webster came up and ran?
Sure would be a treat for the fans and a promotional opportunity for the track.

Too bad the track doesn't seem to want to promote their own shows- maybe a plug here on Karnac or perhaps post the payout and make it worth attending for these guys.

Apperance money used to be a tool promoters would use, guarantee some cars in the pits = fans in the stands.... oh well

I don't know what the problem is there.
Is it something they are or are not doing now- or is it because of the past history of the current owner?
I have been to 4 of the 7 nights they have run this season and the car count keeps going down every week.
No Street Stocks are showing up at all now.

BTW, I see you have a turnkey Late Model for sale. Any chance you running it this weekend there?

Well ironically I bought it to race there when Leroy was trying to promote the track.
I wont be able to attend due to the fact I have a car that competes in the UDLMS series and we are scheduled at BRP Friday and Volusia Saturday.
I do currently sponsor the race results page in the Williston pioneer paper.Bronson full page writeup.
and I sponsor a car that races there,and I try to help the local racers all I can.
Cant do much more,So maybe its not the racers or the community.
I guess if that shoe fits lets lace that sucker up!
I hope they do have a good show and plenty of Late Models for sure.
I will say though my phone has never rang.....

You do your share and then some Rick, you even offer great pricing on Renegade Racing Fuel so the local racers can afford to keep racing. But the track just doesn't seem to be able to really get a solid car count anymore. I hope they get going up there, I've always liked that track.

I figured as much- she burned a lot of bridges and those can be hard to rebuild.
What I don't understand is if she knows that and so do we, who is supposed to start the rebuilding process?
She is the owner and promoter, isn't that on her?

I don't think it's the community or the racers either.
There seemed to be some momentum in the right direction early in the season but feels like it all has died.
Again, she is the promoter- what has she done this week to make this race a sucsess?

5 Flags is 3 hours away and Bronson is 2 1/2.
I know there will be cars at Pensacola- guess I'll get going....

Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 1/2 hr to 5 Flags and watch David Rogers and Brad May. You'll be glad you did!

Just got home and I'm pretty tired but my buddy just called from the track, 5 Flags, he said there's 23 cars and got me excited so I'm headin out. We usually sit down in turn 4 by Rodgers people. Look for the two old guys cheering for Rodgers not with his people, that's us :-) I'll wear my Dale Jr shirt.

Brad talked about bringing his own Superlate to Pensacola to race today, but chose to come up and help on the Rogers crew instead. These are a great bunch of guys and we all hope to see David winning races soon. We are in the Rogers pit if you guys get in the infield after the races. Stop by and say hey.

Well that was mighty ugly for David :/ Looked to me like he was struggling with a push all night and as it got down to the end they got impatient behind and it bit him hard. I was glad for Grissom, but I woulda liked to see him hold off Pollard if Pollard hadn't broke. I dunno what Pollard has figured out but I don't know that I've ever seen anyone be able to make the hi side work like he does.

David had a fairly good run going running 9th with three laps to go and then got caught in the last lap wreck and wound up 14th after having the back end knocked off the car... Photo from Speed51.com... Looks like Patrick looking on in the background... I want one of those new black t-shirts!
