Thanks guys, I am excited about getting on track soon! If I do sponsor a hard charger award, I won't be any danger to win it, i'll be happy if I can just make some laps!
[QUOTE=jacko241;158029]You may be right OS, but I try to keep my racing in perspective. At this point in my life, it is just about enjoyment, period![/Q oh he's right.. then after awhile you won't enjoy it. that's why a lot of guys have came and gone in this class. they ended up broke or just was smart enough to know to get out before they were broke .
Great words of encouragement there Debbie Downer. Geez, the guy doesn't even have the car complete yet and you're trying to sour him on the division he's running. As he said he just wants to have fun. How about giving the guy props for actually putting out a new modified and sponsoring the class? We need more people like him. You, not so much...
Looks great Joe! Now get out there and trade some paint with Diamond Jim!
I would guess that of the multitude of posts from Shorttrack - not a single one was positive. Not going to bother to go back and look, dont care that much, just notice a lot of negativity spewed forth...
On another note - hell yea Joe - you have the right attitude for sure. You may end up loving that class or not - but i doubt you will be on here bitching about it. You are one of the few that puts there money and efforts where there mouth is - have a blast!
You guys are awesome, thanks so much for the words of encouragement! I hope to meet at the track with all you guys and tip a couple brewskis afterwards!

Sounds good to me, and just paint it blue so swapping paint won't show that much.. lol
Having fun is mostly why I do it without breaking the bank with high dollar motors. You would have loved the e-mod class. A lot of us did...

RIP Jack Smith and Kim Brown. Many thanks for all you have done for our sport.
We will not be broken! SUDS RULES!!!! ALEHOUSE SERIES!
But seriously Joe. Hope to meet you too! A little birdie told me some schedule conflicts might be resolved and allow me to run some of the Sportsman 50's at NSS! Hope to see you there on the nights OWM runs too!
