  • Snodgrass restorations

Just got the May issue of Hemmings Motor News and an article about the Mecum auction in Kissimmee refers to a 57 Chevy that went unsold at 125K. The article goes on to say it is probably the finest restoration in the country. It was restored by Snodgrass Restorations in Melbourne meaning it was done by Ray Snodgrass and/or his sons. Also contains coverage of a Mopar meet at Whicham Park. When Ray came to Eau Gallie in the early 50s he had a reputation of being an excellent body man and actually began his racing at Eau Gallie speedway.

I read that article too. I'm surprised it didn't sell. I've seen similar cars of lesser quality go for more at those auctions.
