Well folks I'll let Announcer Dave fill you in on all the race details but I will say my wife and myself spent an enjoyable afternoon at OSW this Sunday. Although all divisions were just a little light on cars the racing ended with three pretty good features including the Classic Cars coupe division, and both Strictly Stock divisions. Sportsman (6) cars on hand with George Gorham, Jr taking the feature, E-Mods (6) cars on hand with the #289 taking the win. V8 Classics also had 6 cars, Coupes also with 6, Strickly 8's with 7 taking the green and Strictly 4's with 8 taking the green. All divisions heading towards the valued double figures. Just a slight increase in car count would have made this a great show. I saw many improvements at the track including the grandstand painting. Concessions had excellent prices and the food was good. Great little hot dog and fries hit the spot. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Truly a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon at the races......maybe OSW still has life left in her after all.....Thanks Donnie and Ozzy for doing this today and we are looking forward to our next trip to OSW.....see ya at the Races !!!

I hear it went well, and a decent crowd. Did my best to help, not sure what kind of impact it had. Shame I had to miss it as I spend the weekend in nc.

well I would run a few more races to see if it grows. just one Sunday race doesn't mean anything. if you don't get the cars out there then there is no show and that means no fans . another question is they let everybody in for free do you think that's going to happen all the time ? if these people had to pay 12.00 a person to get in would they come back even on Sunday . I think after a few times of paying and low car counts they would not return . what do you think ?

Glad you made it home safely. We missed you guys on Sunday, and yes I believe your efforts did help. Anything positive about OSW will help. Were you the one that put the OSW flyers out at NSS about a week ago? They were picked up by the fans like hot cakes. Now upon arriving at the parking lot gate we had to pay our $5.00 a carload. Wanted the gatekeeper to take my coupon (thought they may have been keeping track) but he said no, he didn't need it. Well onwards we went not knowing what to expect. We did see some pretty good racing and with a little bit more support from drivers, owners and fans OSW may just turn the corner and gain Ozzy's favor. It's apparent that Donnie is trying. Well time will tell. Hey Kat where are you guys heading for the races this week-end. We are heading to Citrus for the non-wing sprints, midgets plus more. Another track starting to turn the corner, we will make the best with what we have at this point and continue to enjoy Central Florida racing. Even with short fields the racing is still some of the best there is !!! See ya Kat !!!

We won't be going to the races as often for awhile. I have my mother in law here visiting, and we had discussed cutting back, which I am ok with as I have become increasingly frustrated with the racing scene. I suppose coming here doesn't help that.
We will go for "special events" but not each Saturday like we used to. Hope you have a great time at citrus... I also don't do butler events. I am sure we will see you at some point. I do look for you when we go .m
I hope I made a difference with osw. It's a nice track, and we enjoy the racing there.
