Too bad we have so many Florida cars running at tracks out of state.

Congrats Mr. South, your son had a fine 3'rd place finish!

          HEE HEE.ya, what about practice?

Congrats on a top 3 after a (bad) day at Concord.

Rookie of the year points update?
Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

Thanks everyone. It was a good weekend.

We were around 8th fastest in practice. We were working on a race setup since I couldn't buy practice tires. We were by far the fastest car on old tires. We started the day with over 200 laps on our tires. Heck, Dave Blaney bought his son 5 sets of tires. 4 of them for practice. After he(Blaney) ran 8 laps we were faster than him on 200 lap old tires. We knew we had a good car.

As for the rookie points. We finished ahead of the rookies in front of us in the points so the points tightened up. We are 3rd, 37 points out of 1st (Lehr) and 7 points out of 2nd (Larson). And we are 37 points out of 3rd in the overall points also.

We lead the first 17 laps and was back in 8th at one time. Finishing 3rd to Lang who has won 4 races this year and Odell who has ARCA and Bush starts under his belt felt like a win to us.

Here is the link to the story.

Carol, We wiss you too. We really need to get a race in at CCMP before ASA comes in Oct. So that might happen this month.
