Nope not long. This is a virus according to my computer geek. It infected my desk top and is in the shop now. My laptop here has a better firewall, but it is slowing down. So long KARNAC till I hear by message that it is gone. Can't risk another $$$ for B/S like this

Yes. I'm so sick of this redirecting crap. I really wish the administrators would do something about this. It makes using this board a royal pain in the ass. I wonder how much less traffic this board is getting because of it? Diamond Jim got a virus from it. It's been over 3 months. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

I will wager that, like the rest of racing, it is barely a breakeven deal.

I can deal with a pop up. Would rather not, but it ain't the biggest aggravation in my life. In fact, it doesn't make the Top 20.

I'm not saying this is a major aggravation in my life. Let's get real.

However, since nothing is being done to get rid of it I'm starting to wonder if there is some kind of kickback to KARNAC, like the banner ads.

Longtime contributors Diamond Jim and Jerry are cutting their KARNAC time because of this garbage. KARNAC has become "mobile only" for me. I don't want to risk a virus on my PC.

No kick backs and no virus. it's irritating to me also. It is a data injection on the real racin usa site. Speedway consultants is a web site Jack had and we used to store media on. It was long since let go. We have had several web designers try and find the problem with no luck and we are willing to pay. This site makes no money, what supports it is the google ad running at the top of the page. We considered shutting this board down and running a new board on karnac itself the issue is this message board supports the site if we change it we will loose the ad revenue and there fore loose the site. We have not given up on finding someone to repair the problem but Scott and I have full time jobs besides running this site so finding that person has been the issue. BTW we have not lost viewers but have gained. I get weekly stats every week and the numbers are crazy I will post them next time I receive them. Ok now I'm off to spend the next 3 hours updating the results page...

Contributors? That really strikes me as funny! I imagine trying to explain it to someone who's never been on a message board. As in "I do my best to contribute witty comments and impart my wisdom on these A Holes on a message board on the internet but they never listen!" "But sometimes people argue too"
