HUGE RACE PROGRAM FOR NIGHT 6 OF THE WORLD SERIES AT NEW SMYRNA SPEEDWAY WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Get ready for a big night of racing Wednesday evening for night number six of the 49th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway.
Due to Tuesday's rain-out, the entire Tuesday program has been added to Wednesday's slate of events. The American-Canadian Tour teams met with their officials this afternoon and enough of them agreed to stay and run the final leg of the American Racer Challenge Series to put on a good show for the fans, so that 100-lap affair will run Wednesday night. Also on tap will be the scheduled 76-lap John Blewett III Memorial for the Tour-Type Modifieds and a 75-lap contest for the Florida/IMCA-Type Modified cars.
In a "Buy one race, get one free" type special, the Super Late Models and PPG Architectural Coatings Pro Late Models will run a pair of 35-lap feature races to make up for Tuesday's rain-out. That will be a total of 391 laps of racing action!
Race time remains at 7:30 pm but practice times and qualifying times are being adjusted and can be found by morning by going to www.newsmyrnaspeedway.org or by going to the New Smyrna Speedway Facebook page.
So make your plans to come out for some great racing Wednesday at New Smyrna Speedway and make sure to bundle up warm as temperatures are expected to dip into the upper-30s later in the evening.
